(第一课时)

 

第一部分  简要提示

 

一、年级:5年级                          二、单元:Unit7

三、课题:A busy day                       四、课型:新授课

五、教学内容:单元PartA

六、教学目标:

1. 掌握单词、词组night, half, past, ready, take, really, yet, brush, tooth(teeth), with, quarter, on duty, quick

2. 能听懂、会说、会读日常交际用语Are you ready for breakfast? Let’s hurry. I’m on duty today. Be quick. I’m coming.

3. 初步了解掌握时间的英式表达法:past/to

4. 初步了解掌握句型:What time is it? It’s … It’s time for…

七、重点难点:时间的英式表达法

第二部分  教学过程

第一步:重难点突破

        用时:8分钟

T: Good afternoon, boys and girls! Nice to see you! Do you have a watch? What time is it, can you tell me? Yes, it is one thirty. oh ,it is time to have class now , let’s learn unit 7 A busy day.

T: Look, I have a clock here. What time is it? Do you know?

T: Yes, it’s eight thirty. We can also say, ‘It’s half past eight.’ (Read half, past, half past eight齐读,开火车读)

  How about this one? What time is it? Good!  你都说对了吗?

T: Now, look at this clock. Is it half past five? No, it’s a quarter past five. (Read quarter齐读,开火车读)

T: Now, let’s look at this clock. What time is it? Listen! It’s a quarter to eleven. (Read to)

 在这里,钟面上显示的是10:45,也就是说到下一个整点11:00还差一刻钟,so, we say ‘a quarter to eleven’. 请同学们一定要注意,是到下一个整点还差几分。

下面老师来考考你,看哪个同学反应最快。

What time is it? It’s ten past six/a quarter past six/half past six.(总结:past 过  时间在半点以内或正好半点用past)如图所示。

How about this one? What time is it? Is it forty past six? No, it isn’t. 请同学们观察一下,现在分针离下一个整点七点还差几分?Yes, twenty!So it’s twenty to seven.下面还是来快速抢答好吗?What time is it? It’s a quarter to seven/ten to seven. (总结:to 到  超过半点(差几分便到下一整点)用to 如图所示)你们记住了吗?

T: 同学们,今天我们学习了一种新的表达时间的方法,你学会了吗?下面这些时间应该怎样表达呢?请你和同桌用What time is it? It’s … past/to …It’s time for…(It’s time for…等于It’s time to do…)

 

来问问答答吧。(Work in pairs)

T: Finished? Good! Now, let’s check the answers.指明两两对话回答。

第二步:课文学习

        用时:20分钟

 

1. T: Boys and girls, today we are going to learn Unit 7 A busy day. Who has a busy day? Ok, Let’s listen to the tape .

2. T: We know David is very busy on Thursday. Now, let’s listen to the tape carefully again and try to answer the question: What time does David get up?

    (He gets up at half past six.)

引出并教授:

Are you ready for breakfast? (Be ready for, not yet)

Look at this picture, Mike is brushing his teeth. Here, follow me :brush tooth teeth. (跟读 ,开火车读)

 

3 Do you want to know something more about David’s busy day? Ok, Let’s go on listening .

  T: Now let’s do some true or false questions.

No.1  It’s ha quarter to twelve. It’s time for lunch.           (T)

teach:  It’s time for lunch.

No.2 Mike and David are on duty today.  (on duty)         (T)

No.3 They need to clean the classroom.                   (F)

Correct: They need to clean the library.

Mike says, ‘Be quick, David.’  (Quick)

No.4  There’s a basketball game at a quarter past four.        (F)

correct: There’s a football game at a quarter past four.

   He is really busy today. (Really)

 

4. T: Good! Now let’s listen and repeat. please turn your book to page52,Are you ready? Let’s begin.

 

5. T: Please read the text. 请你自己也来读一读课文吧!注意本课的生词词组和我们新学的句型哦!

 

 

第三步:巩固操练

        用时:5分钟

 

1.T: Now, Nancy is calling Su Hai. She is telling her about David’s busy day. 现在南希正在打电话告诉苏海关于大卫忙碌的一天。你能帮助南希完成这段话吗?试着说说看吧。

(小组活动2分钟)

    David has a busy day today. He gets up at half past six and goes to school at ten to seven. There’s no time for breakfast. He takes some bread with him. He has lunch at a quarter to twelve. After that, he and Mike clean the library. They watch a football game at a quarter past four. Now, he is doing his homework. He is really busy today.

 

T: Now, let’s check the answers. Are you right? 你说对了吗?

  Congratulations! 祝贺你!

T: Now let’s read together.

2.T: Act the dialogue ( 7分钟 )

Boys and girls, this is my busy day, please look at it carefully. I’m really busy.( 真正的,确实) teach really . So, there’s no time for a party.

Now ,I know May Day and Children’s Day are coming. Let’s make a timetable  for May Day or Children’s Day. You must introduce

your timetable to your classmates.使用 It’s ____ past/to____. It’s time for_________.(用汉语解释意思并做示范)

第三部分:说 明

本单元主要学习时间的表达方法,由于以前学过关于时间的表达,因此在本节课的开头教师通过询问几点啦,引出时间这一话题,然后,用以旧带新的办法,先复习时间的美式表达法,再来学习英式表达,分散了课文的重点难点。在课文学习的过程中,着重听和读的操练。巩固环节的根据课文内容填空练习和做自己的时间表并操练句型It’s ____ past/to____. It’s time for_________.,更好地帮助学生理解课文。
